As with all proposed development, details of how stormwater and wastewater will be managed is required and particularly important in vulnerable areas such as Lake Hayes, if further intensification is considered.

Development such as proposed in this area is not anticipated in the spatial plan and therefore at this stage not considered positive.

Negotiating a Regional Deal with Government and gaining support for a public/private arrangement to be innovative and provide a mass rapid transport solution is essential.  Providing for wastewater treatment and disposal of treated wastewater is addressed in our infrastructure programme.
