Al Angus

I do agree development with zero concern for anything but the bottom line has been detrimental to the entire district in general.

Regarding Lake Hayes, the outlet needs to be returned to its natural flow levels ,pre culvert.

I believe the sewerage pump station has now been repaired after years of leaching, so much so that the concrete floor rotted out and was recently replaced.perhaps you could verify that for me because as you know council is very sensitive about such matters.

Any upstream developments must have their own treatment systems, as in contained treatment plants or septic tanks per house. Kingston and Glenorchy are on septic systems and there has never been a bacteria reading from any waterway near or in these town boundaries

Regarding the new village, it has had a major setback with Rod Drury pulling out. however, I don't agree with these massive monuments to greed that have zero impact on housing affordability.

Regard sewerage, which should be the main concern of every resident and ratepayer, as I said any new subdivisions and developments must have their own contained treatment facilities. Our present systems need massive upgrades and that doesn't necessarily mean massive investment but more efficient contractors with proper oversight with a new penaltys not payments policy for " mistakes " .

Re traffic bypass bridge across the Kawarau river accessed through the Frankton industrial estate and comeing out at Boyd road would be my first choice.
